A re-elected McGowan Government will deliver $47,000 to Ocean Reef Senior High School that will deliver table tennis tables for students, a shaded area for senior students and digital clocks for classrooms.

Ocean Reef Senior High School identified a need to provide additional recreational activities during break times and students are looking forward to being able to play table tennis outdoors. 

A shade area would be constructed for Year 11 and 12 students and this will have seating and be the location of the outdoor table tennis, providing a space for students to gather during break times.

Table tennis is an activity that promotes socialisation as well as physical activity. 

In classrooms, the school would like five portable digital clocks to enable students to keep track of time during class and exams.
